Facilities
Water on the pier available, free of charge. Fuel
Station inside the marina. While returning to the base please refuel
your boat before you go to your berth. Showers and toilets.
Provisions
There is a super market with a
variety of products and the the delivery is
gratis. Working hours during season are from 08:30 to 22:00
hrs. Alternatively, you may choose to do your shopping at the
big super market which is located about 200 m. from the south marina
entrance. Price are probably better, but you will have to
carry the shopping by yourself.
The
Weather
From May to September, the wind blows from the NW.
It starts around noon, dies down during sunset and varies from 2 to
5 in the Beaufort scale. From October to April, the wind
usually blows from the SW. In summer, the weather is warm and sunny,
with occasional rain in spring and autumn
Hazards
When entering the bay of Gouvia, keep to the north
side to avoid the shallows which are are buoyed.
